My Journey in Tech.

Image
M y Journey in Tech started back in 2013 when I joined Nairobi Aviation College to pursue Information Technology. After graduating, getting a job was not easy and I had to switch my career to Fashion Designing for a period of 4 years. In 2017, Digital Divide Data came my way through Shining Hope For Communities . I was offered a scholarship to study Software Development at Moringa School Limited  for a period of 6 months. The experience was not an easy journey. I am glad I got an offer to work for Moringa School. Up to date, I have been teaching students to be Software Developers.  Coding for passion, instructing my laptop to perform a task. Cheers, all. Look at the little problem in your society and try coming up with a solution for it with the knowledge you have.  Together we can change the community around us. Thank you Moringa School, DDD, and SHOFCO changing lives.  #WomenCanDoIt

Kenyan Women in Technology

What about Women in Technology in Kenya? As I was growing up back in the village, society believed that Technology was a man course. Currently, things have changed and we have got a lot of organizations coming up to help women to embrace technology.   As it stands, most of the girls and young women are working hard to ensure their skills are up to par with what the markets requires.
